Check out s3mag.com to see a preview of issue 18. It’s bigger and better too! I did a photoshoot of a really cool VW rabbit and a neat Prelude. This issue is going to be hot. It features 786 motorings Toyota cressida on the cover. Shot by legendary J. Evins representing Houston Texas. Cover design by the infamous Andy Sapp.
I’m proud to be a part of this mag- it’s come a long way from what it started out as.

I have other work coming out soon. A feature for RIX and PAS. Don’t worry s3 is wear my heart is. Ha.

Neil the man himself in front of the Tjin Edition Camaro

I met Neil at SEMA through a mutual friend (Shout out to Aaron Vaccar!). He has been building cars for a long time. The one I remember first is the Four door skyline. Then he broke out and did a bunch of cars for SEMA and GM.. Pontiac G8, Solstice, and then there is this.. This Camaro.. Neil asked if I was going to come to the Carlisle show with Aaron. He wanted to get the car photographed with New Baer Brakes and iForge wheels. I jumped at the chance. I hung around all day and enjoyed the event before finally shooting the car just before he packed it back up to head out on tour again. I tried. Hard. I’m very happy with the end results and Neil seems to be happy too.

Look at those ruby red slippers!

This is another car I shot for S3. Here are some pics that didn’t make the cut.

There were a few pics that didn’t get published in S3 Magazine. It’s not their fault- there is only so much room. Tyler’s car started as beat up Mx5 Miata with the standard DOHC 4 cylinder. He swapped the stock motor for a newer 1.8 liter with the addition of Individual throttle bodies. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any louder, Tyler pulled the motor out a second time. This time he added the 13b rotary motor out of the RX7..
